Surf Is Were You Find It, Gerry Lopez Book Tour

Patagonia is excited to present Gerry Lopez, aka MR PIPELINE. In Australia to share an intimate insight of his lifetime of surfing as chronicled in his book ‘SURF IS WHERE YOU FIND IT’. Gerry will be joined by fellow surfing legend and long time friend Wayne Lynch in Sydney, Manly, Torquay and Currumbin.

Surf Is Where You Find It, by Gerry Lopez, is a collection of stories about lessons learned during a lifetime of surfing. It presents a collection of 38 stories about those who have been influential in the sport–surfing any time, anywhere, and in any way. Lopez made his reputation at Pipeline; from there he went on to a lifelong career in surfing, and more recently in snowboarding. He co-founded Lightning Bolt® Maui surfboards (lightningboltmaui.com), was instrumental in developing the high-performance shortboard, and has appeared in many films. He lives in Bend, Oregon, with his wife and son.
