Facing extinction

I strike for
climate action

I’m concerned about the climate crisis because I feel my future is at stake. My generation is engaged with this because the pressure is enormous. We know that if things don’t start changing right now, we will be the ones who will have to pay for it.

I was the first one from my town to become active. Becoming an activist wasn’t a “yes or no” question for me. I felt it was my moral duty to do the things that people describe as activism.

Where I live, winter tourism is important. I personally like to ski, and I fear I won’t be able to do that in a few years because our glaciers are melting.

We need adults to move their arses. We need to start seeing change instead of just talking about it. Businesses need to come together and work on solutions to the climate crisis. And we need everyone to join us on the streets and get active.

I strike because I’m too young to vote and I want to make my voice heard.
