The use of Patagonia Online is governed by the policies, terms and conditions set forth below. Please read them carefully. Your use of this website indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Your placement of an order indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions complement existing consumer protections and does not supercede the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 within Australia or Australian Territories.
By ordering or registering on patagonia.com.au you grant us the right to add your contact details to our database. From time to time we may contact you about offers and new products.
You can easily be removed by contacting our Customer Service at contact@patagonia.com.au and we will remove you from marketing communications or click unsubscribe at the base of the email.
Usernames and Passwords
If Patagonia authorises you to register for or otherwise use online shopping, then you must keep your username and password (if any) confidential and not disclose it to any other person. Nor may you permit any other person to use that username or password (either for their own use or on your behalf).
Gift Cards are redeemable solely for purchases in Australia at Patagonia International Inc. stores and Patagonia.com.au. Lost, stolen or damaged Gift Cards will not be canceled and replaced without the required proof of purchase. Gift cards are redeemable for 3 years from the date of issue. Digital gift cards will be issued within 24 hours or on a future date of your choice. Contact 1800 326 889 for details.
Gift cards are issued in specific currencies, so that cards issued in New Zealand dollars are redeemable in New Zealand stores and on the New Zealand website, whilst cards issued in Australian dollars are redeemable in Australian stores and on the Australian website.
Gift Cards are not refundable or redeemable for cash. If the value of your Gift Card is greater than the amount of your total purchase, you will be able to use the remaining Gift Card balance for future purchases, subject to these terms and conditions.
If the value of your Gift Card is less than the amount of your total Patagonia.com.au Order purchase, you must use an alternate payment method in order to complete your purchase. If the value of your Gift Card is less than the amount of your total Patagonia retail store purchase, you must provide an additional payment method accepted in that retail store in order to complete your purchase.
Purchase or use of any Patagonia Gift Card means you accept these terms and conditions. Any term of this Gift Card purchase agreement deemed unenforceable shall be severable and the remaining terms enforced. We reserve the right to cancel the gift card if we deem the order high-risk or fraudulent.
Order Acceptance
Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell.
Patagonia.com.au reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason. Patagonia.com.au reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order, without prior notice to you, to supply less than the quantity you ordered of any item.
All orders placed must obtain pre-approval with an acceptable method of payment, as established by our credit and fraud avoidance department. We may require additional verifications or information before accepting any order. Patagonia.com.au does not accept orders from dealers, exporters, wholesalers, or other customers who intend to resell the products offered by Patagonia Online.
Liability
We reserve the right to refuse any order without giving reason. Upon cancellation of an order we will make all reasonable attempts to contact you using the details provided. All received monies will be refunded using the method received.
Product Disclaimer Reproduction of colours is as accurate as photographic processes allow, however please note that product colours in-store may vary slightly from what is displayed on your computer monitor and may vary from monitor to monitor. Although listed on the website, some items, sizes, colours and styles might not be immediately available or temporarily or permanently out of stock. We aim to ensure that our website is accurate, however, sometimes errors occur, for which we apologise.
Payment & Security
You can be confident when shopping at Patagonia Online that all your personal and financial information is secured by industry standard 128-bit encryption.
Once registered you will be entitled to shop online and purchase products securely with your valid credit card or pay pal account. By submitting an order you represent and warrant that you are authorised to use the designated card or method of payment and authorise us to charge your order (including taxes and freight charges) to that card or payment method. If the card (or other method) cannot be verified, is invalid, or is not otherwise acceptable, your order may be suspended or cancelled automatically
Your credit card information is not capture or stored at any time – not even temporarily. Patagonia Online does not have any access to your credit card information at any time and uses CAMTECH payment gateway which holds the highest level of PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) accreditation.
All references to $ and dollars on the website are to Australian currency. All prices were current at the time of publication on the website and are inclusive of GST.
Delivery
We work to get your order to you as soon as possible. Most orders ship within one to two business days of the order being placed. Shipping time frames are outlined on the shipping help page. Please note that weather, peak shopping seasons and shipping holidays can all delay the shipment of your order.
The delivery times provided by Patagonia.com.au are estimates only. Patagonia.com.au will not be held accountable for late deliveries or loss or damage relating to late deliveries. In the event that multiple items are ordered, part deliveries may be made where stock is not available. All reasonable attempts to notify you will be made using the details you provided.
Please ensure you enter the correct delivery address. Patagonia.com.au cannot be held responsible for incorrectly entered delivery addresses.
Address Confirmation is given on the review page in the checkout section of the site. If this is not noticed until after your order is finalised, please contact Customer Service at contact@patagonia.com.au immediately.
We will attempt to update any incorrect order details, however due to the fast turnaround of our warehouse, some orders cannot be adjusted. In the case that your order is processed and cannot be updated, please refer to our returns and exchange section for more information.
Acceptance of the Goods
The buyer is responsible for inspecting the goods for fault and notifying us within 15 working days of receiving the goods should there be a fault.
Return of the Goods
We do not set a time limit on returns, though we ask that returns for fit or colour be made in a timely manner. All items are to be be kept in new condition with tags attached.
We accept both current season and discounted items for return and we will cover the cost of postage back to us.
Can’t Find A Product
Not all of the products in the current season’s line are shown in our Online Store. If you can’t find something on the site, try using the Search, starting with a specific name or term. If the Search does not return the right match (or any at all), it could be that we do not make that product, or that it is not available for the season.
If you find a product on the site, but the size/colour you want is out of stock or not shown, contact one of our Patagonia stores (Store Locator) to find out if the item can be tracked down for you. We will do our best to locate the product in one of our stores. This service is free.

The Patagonia Australia mobile message service (the "Service") is operated by Patagonia (“Patagonia Australia”, “we”, or “us”). Your use of the Service constitutes your agreement to these terms and conditions (“Mobile Terms”). We may modify or cancel the Service or any of its features without notice. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may also modify these Mobile Terms at any time and your continued use of the Service following the effective date of any such changes shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.
By consenting to Patagonia Australia’s SMS/text messaging service, you agree to receive recurring SMS/text messages from and on behalf of Patagonia Australia through your wireless provider to the mobile number you provided, even if your mobile number is registered on any state or federal Do Not Call list. Text messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialling system or other technology. Promotional messages may include promotions, specials, and other marketing offers (e.g., cart reminders).
You understand that you do not have to sign up for this program in order to make any purchases, and your consent is not a condition of any purchase with Patagonia Australia. Your participation in this program is completely voluntary.
We do not charge for the Service, but you are responsible for all charges and fees associated with text messaging imposed by your wireless provider. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan and contact your wireless provider for details. You are solely responsible for all charges related to SMS/text messages, including charges from your wireless provider.
You may opt-out of the Service at any time. Text the single keyword command STOP to Patagonia or click the unsubscribe link (where available) in any text message to cancel. You'll receive a one-time opt-out confirmation text message. No further messages will be sent to your mobile device, unless initiated by you. If you have subscribed to other Patagonia Australia mobile message programs and wish to cancel, except where applicable law requires otherwise, you will need to opt out separately from those programs by following the instructions provided in their respective mobile terms.
