The Octo by FCD Surfboards is a high performance, hybrid shortboard that is fast, loose and easy to paddle. It's suitable for a wide variety of surf conditions and heights between 2ft to double overhead. It offers extra speed and early entry with minimal rocker and the single concave and curved outline allows it to plane quickly and easily. Overall, you're looking at a playful, skatey and manoeuvrable board.
Made from Marko® Beaded EPS, which has tight fusion between the beads and is very strong and lightweight. It's recycled and recyclable and the materials and processes used are designed to lengthen the life of your board.
Epoxy resin which is light, strong and produces less VOC's than traditional resins. They use at least 2 layers on the bottom to increase the strength and to protect the integrity of the board when it's being sanded.
